Cascades at World Golf Village

The Cascades at World Golf Village is a Jacksonville retirement community which just happens to be located in the same community as the World Golf Hall of Fame. Besides having easy access to the restaurants, shops, and golf facilities at WGV, the amenities in Cascades at World Golf Village include a 22,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, indoor and outdoor pools with spa, tennis and bocce ball courts.

Single family homes in The Cascades at World Golf Village start in the $100,000s and go up to more than $400,000. There are also some rental homes available.

The Cascades is just one of many communities at the WGV, and living there is an experience unto itself. To say there is plenty to do would be an understatement. Besides the Hall of Fame, WGV’s two championship courses are among the best courses in Florida and include the only course in the world co-designed by golf greats Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, the King & Bear. The other course is called The Slammer & Squire, which was designed by course architect Bobby Weed with player consultants and Hall of Fame members Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. Each course has its own clubhouse with a pro shop, locker room lounges, a bar with outdoor patio dining and gourmet dining room.

Other activities at the World Golf Village include more than 70 exhibits, an IMAX theater, and many shops and restaurants.

If golf is your passion and you want to retire to the heart and soul of the game, The Cascades at World Golf Village might be a good choice.

I would like to know if the King & Bear fitness facility is open to Cascades residence? If so are there any special requirements?

    Thanks
