Heritage Isle is a 55+ master-planned community being developed by Lennar Homes located in the town of Viera in Brevard County, FL. When complete this Florida East Coast retirement community will have more than 1,500 homes. There are currently three builders in Heritage Isle, Lennar, Burgoon Berger, and Tiffany Homes.
There are multiple options available for homes at Heritage Isle, from condos, to townhouses, and single-family homes. Typical home sizes range from 1,100 square feet up to over 3,000 square feet. Prices start in the mid to high $100k’s and go up to more than $400,000.
The 21,000 sq ft clubhouse (Heritage Club) offers residents just about any amenity you’d expect to find in a retirement community these days. Amenities include state of the art fitness center with personal trainers, billiard and card room, conference/library, computer stations, catering kitchen, aerobics, ballroom, administration and multi-purpose flex rooms. The Club has a resort style pool, tennis courts, a croquet lawn, and basketball hoops, and areas for bocce and horseshoes.
If you are a nature person, Heritage Park & Trail system surround the community, and will be connected via 3 miles of walkways and pedestrian bridges.
While there is no golf course in Heritage Isle community, the adjacent Duran Golf Club should do the trick. Duran is an 18-hole championship track with a 7,100 square foot clubhouse with full pro shop, restaurant and bar, plus a state-of-the-art practice and learning center.
The community has won numerous awards in the past several years including “Best 55+ Community” by the readers of Florida Today, the 2006 BEST OF SENIORS HOUSING AWARD and in 2007 Where to Retire magazine voted Heritage Isle one of America’s Best 100 Master-planned communities.
