Depending on your own personal likes, interests, and tastes, you will naturally be more drawn to certain types of communities.

The number of communities offering this type of program seems to be dwindling, but here are some of the places that still offer great deals to come and visit for a few days.

On Top of the World – Ocala, FL
On Top of the World in Ocala offers a 3-day / 2-night stay in a fully-decorated two-bedroom, two-bath guest home for only $149 plus tax.

Some (but not all) Del Webb communities in Florida offer a stay-and-play called “Explore Del Webb”.
The prices, length of stay, and what's included varies from community to community, and again, not every Del Webb community offers this.
I know that Del Webb Stone Creek offers this program, but be sure to contact the one you're interested in to ask if they offer this program.
