As one of the most popular retirement locations in all of Florida, you can definitely count on plenty of options to choose from if Naples is the ultimate destination for you.

You can choose from communities that range from completely brand new to communities that have been established for years. There are communities with tons of amenities and communities that offer a simpler lifestyle. And of course, there are communities to suit just about any price range.

Fiddler’s Creek

Started in 1993, Fiddler’s Creek will contain 6,000 single-family and attached homes spread out over almost 4,000 acres when it is eventually completed. With that many new homes, you can be certain that the amenities here are extremely impressive. Features like a 54,000 square foot clubhouse are just the tip of the iceberg. Homes in Fiddler’s Creek start in the low $200s and can cost as much as $3 million on the high end.

Lely Resort

If you are looking for a community that will make every day feel like a vacation, Lely Resort could be the perfect fit. The amenities complex and pool at the heart of this 4,506 home community is absolutely breathtaking. Construction on this community started in 2001 and homes here cost from $200,000 up to $2 million.

Vineyards

With only 2,733 homes, Vineyards represents the first of the new build communities that are a bit more manageable in terms of size, while still offering great amenities. Those amenities include two 18-hole golf courses and a luxurious 70,000 square foot clubhouse. Single-family homes, attached home, and condos here start as low as the high $100s and range up to over $2 million.

VeronaWalk

The big selling point at VeronaWalk is the Town Center that contains everything you could want in a small town community. Things like the community bank, travel agency, gas station, car wash, and post office are all located right in the heart of this 1,964 home community. Prices at VeronaWalk range from the low $200s to the high $500s.

The Isles of Collier Preserve

If brand new is a key selling point that attracts your interest, The Isles of Collier Preserve is a perfect mid-sized community option. The planned 1,649 homes here were just started in 2014. There are plans in place for a huge clubhouse and resort-style swimming pool. Single-family and attached homes range in price from the mid $300s to the low $1 millions.

Treviso Bay

Started in 2012, Treviso Bay is a fairly new community with plans for a total of 1,300 single-family homes, attached homes, and condos. Amenities here include a 50,000 square foot clubhouse, a 15,000 square foot sports complex, and an 18-hole championship golf course. Prices here range from the mid $200s to almost $2 million.

Esplanade Golf & Country Club of Naples

This brand new Taylor Morrison community was started in 2014 and plans call for 1,121 homes with fantastic amenities that will include a luxurious clubhouse, 18-hole golf course, and community fitness center. New homes are currently selling for between $400,000 and $700,000.

The Quarry

The location next to Stone Lake is what attracts residents to the 900 new and resale homes at The Quarry. In addition to the lake, there is also a fantastic clubhouse and an 18-hole golf course. Single-family and attached homes here typically cost anywhere from the mid $200s to nearly $2 million.

Winding Cypress

Winding Cypress is a community of 774 homes that is situated on 800 acres of natural preserves that contains 80 different lakes for residents to explore. The community is also set to open its clubhouse sometime this year. Single family and attached homes here cost between $200,000 and $500,000.

Reflection Lakes

This community that was started in 2005 contains 612 homes and is another excellent option for nature enthusiasts. The key amenity here is the beautiful Reflection Lake and the 8,000 square foot clubhouse nearby. Single-family and attached homes start in the mid $100s and can cost up to the low $500s.

Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes

The smallest of the new construction communities is Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes. This Taylor Morrison project started in 2014 and is planned to contain 443 homes, as well as a 6,500 square foot clubhouse and plenty of other great amenities. Single-family homes here are priced from the low $300s up the the mid $500s.

Completed Communities

Pelican Bay

With a total of 6,500 homes constructed from 1972 all the way up through 2006, there is a wide range of options to choose from at Pelican Bay. There are also tons of great amenities, starting with the 25,000 square foot Community Center and a member-owned golf club right in the center of the community. Homes here can range in price from the high $300s to well over $6 million.

Island Walk

Island Walk is a mature mid-sized community that contains 1,856 homes that were built between 1998 and 2004. Amenities include a large community clubhouse, resort-style pool, and miles of walking trails that weave through the community’s many lakes. Singly-family and attached homes here sell for anywhere from the high $200s to the low $600s.

Heritage Bay

Heritage Bay is another great community for the golf enthusiast. It contains a 27-hole championship level course designed by Lewis-Azinger. There are 1,400 homes that were constructed between 2005 and 2014 and they typically sell for anywhere from the high $100s to the low $700s.

Village Walk

The 850 single-family and attached homes of Village Walk were constructed between 1995 and 1999. The full-time activities director keeps the community active, and the clubhouse contains bonus features like a hair salon and travel agency. Homes here sell for somewhere between the high $200s and low $500s.

Rivera Golf Estates

Built from 1967 through 2003, Rivera Golf Estates contains 700 single-family homes and condos that sell for under $100,000 up to the low $300s. This great option for modest budgets still includes amenities like an 18-hole golf course and community clubhouse.

Autumn Woods

This 548 home gated community was built between 1998 and 2003 and contains a great selection of single-family and attached homes on 225 acres of woods. Amenities include a 3,000 square foot clubhouse, and plenty of trails for walking and biking. Homes here range from the high $300s to the high $600s.

Marbella Lakes

With a total of only 490 homes, this is the smallest completed community in Naples. Construction here took place between 2009 and 2013 and home prices range from the high $200s to the low $700s. Amenities include an 8,000 square foot clubhouse, tons of outdoor activities, and lots of scenic lakes and ponds.
