In 2016, 71 percent of Florida voters approved of the legalization of medical marijuana and in 2017 Florida lawmakers partially granted their wish by allowing the use of medical marijuana oils and baked goods, but banning smokeable marijuana. I joke in my book that the State's cities and counties make up for the deficit with speeding tickets and property taxes.
