Del Webb Lakewood Ranch Review

by Ryan Erisman | Updated: March 19, 2023

Del Webb Lakewood Ranch is one of the 55+ communities within the broader Lakewood Ranch master-plan community.

In this review, we'll take a closer look at where it is, what it's like to live there, and a few other key things you'll probably want to know before moving there.

Del Webb Lakewood Ranch Quick Facts:

  • Size: 1,262 homes (a mix of single-family homes and villas)
  • Price Range: The Del Webb website lists villas starting in the $300k's and homes starting in the $400k's, but both of those lower-priced options are sold out as far as new construction is concerned. At the time of this writing, only a few single-family homes remain, and they start in the $900k's.
  • Floorplans: 14 designs to choose from (12 single-family floorplans and 2 villa floorplans)

Del Web in lakewood ranch is a lovely community but I have heard that the restaurant/bar is not what it was supposed to be. Hours are often limited as is the menu.
Also, most activities are through clubs. The community is not planning the outside activites they indicated would be available when buying there.
