Glen Lakes is a gated country club community located just 45 minutes north of Tampa. While its not a true Tampa retirement community as it's not age restricted, it has many of the amenities and the type of lifestyle that many retirees are looking for.

Just a side note, Weekie Wachee Springs is a somewhat popular tourist attraction, and is home to a World Famous Mermaid Show. You might recall seeing them in the movie The Right Stuff.
