Atlantic Coast Living
Grand Haven is located between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach, and Interstate 95 runs right by it. As a result, you can get over to some of the best attractions on the Atlantic coast in minutes. The closest nearby is Marineland.
Orlando isn't too far away either. Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Daytona Beach all boast excellent dining and entertainment options. If shopping is your cup of tea, nearby options include the Palm Harbor Shopping Center and the Palm Coast Town Center. Also, just across the bridge on State Road 100 there is a weekly Farmer's Market in Flagler Beach with the occasional good find.
If you do head that way, check out the Flagler Fish Company for lunch or dinner. I had a blackened grouper sandwich and while it was no Frenchy's, it was still pretty good 🙂
Several state parks are located in the area, and the many lakes, rivers and waterways allow you to enjoy freshwater fishing as well as deep-sea fishing. As for the beach, you can go right across the bridge to Flagler Beach like I mentioned, or head a half hour south to Daytona or New Smyrna.
