Del Webb Oasis in Winter Garden Review

by Ryan Erisman | Updated: February 22, 2024

Del Webb Oasis in Winter Garden, located just minutes from Orlando area theme parks and attractions, is another highly anticipated new Del Webb community in Florida.

Del Webb Oasis happens to be right here in my neck of the woods, so I'd be happy to help you learn everything you need to know.

You can start by requesting a complete brochure here.

Del Webb Oasis Quick Facts

  • Size: Around 420 single-family homes and villas
  • Price Range: Villas start in the low $400k's, and single-family homes start in the $500k's
  • Floorplans: 13 designs to choose from

Location

If I've said it once, I've said it 1,000 times, choosing one Del Webb community over another is all about location.

Del Webb Oasis' address is Winter Garden, but in actuality, this Orlando area 55+ community is closer to Magic Kingdom and the other Disney parks and amenities than say downtown Winter Garden.

I've taken to calling it “The Disney Del Webb”.

In fact, I live in this general vicinity myself, and part of the fun is being able to see, hear (or both!) nightly fireworks from the Magic Kingdom and Epcot which is kind of neat if you're into that sort of thing. I am 😉

The fact that Del Webb Oasis is so close to the theme parks might scare you when it comes to traffic. But I can speak to this from personal experience and tell you that even though there are a few hotels out this way, it's not really a “touristy” area at the moment.

Here's a map showing you exactly where the sales center is:

The actual community and homes being built are about 2-3 minutes south of that red marker. Just about any kind of shopping imaginable, as well as plenty of great restaurants, are all within minutes of the community.

Community Amenities

Like most Del Webb communities, Del Webb Oasis will have a long list of amenities for residents to enjoy, including a 12,000 sq. ft. resort-style amenity center with:

  • Resort-Style, Zero-Entry Pool with Lap Lanes and Sun Shelf
  • Fitness Center Featuring Technogym Equipment
  • Sports Courts (Tennis and Pickle Ball)
  • Private Poolside Cabanas
  • Outdoor Spa
  • Community Walking Path with Exercise Stations
  • Arts & Crafts Room, Meeting Space, and Lounge
  • Outdoor Fire Pits
  • and more

Del Webb will be offering 13 different floorplans here from their “Scenic”, “Distinctive”, and “Echelon” home series, plus the “Ellenwood” from their attached villa series.

Also, I mention this in just about every Del Webb article I write, but for the most part Del Webb builds the same floorplans across most of their different communities here in Florida. The thinking behind this is that they have decades of experience under their belt as far as knowing what kinds of floorplans prospective buyers are looking for, so why reinvent the wheel?

Final Thoughts

Again, what sets most communities apart from others, whether it's a Del Webb community or some other 55+ brand, is the location. In my opinion, that's really most important.

So if the Orlando area is on your shortlist, this community is definitely one you'll want to check out.
