Looking for a great retirement community near Delray Beach?
There are plenty of great communities to choose from in the area. All of these options are just another one of the great aspects about this wonderful little beach town!
Regardless of price range, community size, or the type of home you are looking for, there is something for just about everyone in Delray Beach. Each of these communities also have their own unique sets of amenities, which can really make your life here enjoyable.
Villaggio Reserve
If you are only interested in brand new age restricted communities, then Villagio Reserve is where you will want to start your search, because it is the only 55+ retirement community in Delray Beach that is still building new homes.
The community has existed since 2013 and their plans are to build out a total of only 600 homes and villas. Those homes can generally fall in the $200,000-$400,000 range. The single family home floor plans are all just under 2,000 square feet, and the villas are a bit more manageable at 1,300-1,600 square feet.
The amenities at Villaggio Reserve will include a 38,000 square foot resort-style club with a fitness center and a grand ballroom. There will also be three outdoor pools, tennis courts, and miles of walking trails.
Seven Bridges, The Bridges, and Tuscany by GL Homes
While Villagio Reserve is the only age restricted community being developed in Delray today, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not checking out the communities GL Homes is currently building here.
GL Homes does build 55+ communities and they have in the past in Delray (you'll learn about Valencia Falls and Valencia Palms a little later in this article), so they understand what that type of buyer is looking for, and even though they don't have the 55+ designation, I think these three communities will still appeal to Boomers because of the combination of amenities and home styles GL has carefully selected for each.
