Lake Nona Lifestyle

Much of the community revolves around the Medical City, so Lake Nona is known for promoting healthy living among all of its residents. A full 40% of the community is dedicated to green spaces that include dog parks, athletic parks, playgrounds, and gardens. On top of that, there are resort-style and Olympic swimming pool options in each of the five neighborhoods.

Lake Nona residents also have access to state-of-the-art fitness centers located in each of the community neighborhoods, and there is a total of 44 miles of trails for walking or biking that crisscross throughout the community.

The United States Tennis Association has a state-of-the-art National Campus with 100 courts that houses the USTA’s Community Tennis and Player Development divisions. This facility is divided into dedicated areas that focus on the pathway from the youngest players to recreational players, to collegians, to future professional players and professional tour-level players.

Lake Nona Culture

The Glass House is a kaleidoscope of reclaimed materials.

It only takes one look at “The Beacon and Code Wall” at Lake Nona's Town Center to realize that this is a community where arts and culture play a pivotal role. This stunning artistic tribute looks spectacular against the night sky, while the much simpler “Glass House” is a beautiful artistic feature to visit during the day.

In addition to the culture you will find right in Lake Nona, residents are also close enough to enjoy all of the culture that Orlando has to offer, including the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orlando Ballet.

Lake Nona Shopping

The area surrounding “The Beacon and Code Wall” in Lake Nona's Town Center is filled with retail options that include everything from department stores to grocery shopping to amazing boutique stores that you won't find anywhere else in the world.

And if you feel the need to add even more variety to your shopping adventures, there is a whole world of opportunity to be found throughout the Orlando area.

Lake Nona Dining

Small plates are all the rage at Chroma Modern Bar + Kitchen!

The entire greater Orlando area is absolutely stocked with amazing restaurants, but Lake Nona residents don't even have to venture outside of their own community to find some outstanding cuisine. Options like Chroma Modern Bar + Kitchen and Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine are located right in the Town Center.

Chroma specializes in small plates, craft beer, and fine wine. The Fish Tacos are a popular option here, but you might also want to get a little more adventurous and try the Roasted Bone Marrow dish.

Over at Bosphorus, guests are treated to a fabulous Mediterranean experience with a full menu of authentic Turkish food. Popular options here include the Turkish Mixed Grill Platter, Lamb Kofte, and Chicken Sis Kebap.

From the lifestyle and culture to the shopping and dining, everything about Lake Nona is built around the idea of emphasizing a healthier life that is filled with passion. If healthy living is something you are passionate about, this is definitely the community that should be at the top of your list.
