The month of March is an exciting time for Florida residents, and there are more events happening across the Sunshine State over the next few weeks than we could possibly keep up with…but we're still going to try to highlight some of the best ones!
One of the biggest events of the entire year here in Florida is the world-famous Bike Week in Daytona Beach. This massive event is the type of spectacle that you are going to want to see for yourself even if you aren't a motorcycle enthusiast.
There are also going to be some major sporting events happing in Florida during the month of March. The PGA Tour's Players Championship will be held at the famous TPC Sawgrass course in Ponte Vedra from March 12 through 17, and there will be first and second round NCAA Tournament action in Jacksonville on March 21 and 23.
In addition to those three events, there are also plenty of other events for you to check out during the month of March. Let's take a closer look at some of our favorites.

St. Augustine Fashion Week
St. Augustine has a reputation for being solely focused on its rich history, but the city is also home to a thriving design community that will be on display during St. Augustine Fashion Week from March 2 through 10. The big attraction this year will be two full days of runway shows.
Art Boca Raton 2019
More than 500 artists will be represented by 55 international galleries when Art Boca Raton 2019 takes over the International Pavilion of the Palm Beaches and FAU Research Park in Boca Raton from March 15 to 18.

If you are looking to double-dip on festivals, Jazz in the Gardens will also be happening in Miami during that time. The party will kick off with vendors on March 7 and 8 before the concerts start at Hard Rock Stadium on March 9 and 10.
Ultra Music Festival
Miami will also be the hot place to be at the end of the month when the Ultra Music Festival takes over Virginia Key during the last weekend of March. This three-day electronic dance music festival will feature a long list of exciting performers.
Nature Festivals
International Orchid Festival
Orchid lovers won't want to miss the International Orchid Festival in Coral Gables from March 8 to 10. There will be more than 10,000 orchids available from vendors here, as well as display gardens and garden workshops.

Naples Flower Show
There is never really a bad time to visit Naples or stroll through the Naples Botanical Garden, but on March 22 and 23 this already popular attraction kicks things up to the next level by hosting the Naples Flower Show, which is one of the largest flower shows in Florida.
The events that we've highlighted here are more than enough to fill up even the most active boomer's calendar, but they are still just barely scratching the surface of all that there is to do here in Florida during the month of March. Which ones are you most excited to attend?
