Another new neighborhood is coming to the solar-powered Babcock Ranch community in Southwest Florida, as TerraWalk at Babcock Ranch will be opening in late 2023.
The roughly 1,000 home community is being built by DiVosta, a division of Pulte, which also owns Del Webb.
This won't be an age-restricted Babcock Ranch 55+ community, but you can definitely see the similarities when looking at the amenities and homes that they'll be offering here.
Location
I've covered Babcock Ranch and its Southwest Florida location before, so I won't rehash that here, but within Babcock Ranch, TerraWalk will be:
- 1.5 miles to the Publix-anchored Crescent B Commons which features a variety of restaurants and a drive-thru Starbucks (coming soon)
- 1.5 miles to The Shoppes at Yellow Pine which will feature a Marshalls, Ace Hardware, 5 Below, Oar & Iron, Verizon, and an array of dining establishments
- 3 miles to Founder’s Square which is the social hub of Babcock Ranch. It’s a central gathering place for neighbors and guests and the site of community events, music, and celebrations for all ages
Community
The highlight of TerraWalk at Babcock Ranch will be the 8-Acre lakeside resort amenity complex, with pool and spa, fire pit lounge, pickleball courts, tennis courts, bocce ball courts, event lawn, dog park and more.
Inside the clubhouse there will be a state-of-the-art fitness center, exercise studio, locker rooms, card rooms, large community room, catering kitchen, indoor/outdoor social lounge, plus an outdoor bar and grill.
So it pretty much sounds like most of the Florida Del Webb communities we've looked at before, just maybe on a little smaller scale.
Homes
If you've read any of my Del Webb community reviews you'll probably recognize the names of several of the floorplans being offered in TerraWalk at Babcock Ranch.
The Ellenwood is an attached villa that's offered in several Del Webb communities throughout Florida.
As far as single-family homes are concerned, the Mystique, Palmary, Prestige, Renown, Stardom, and Stellar are also in most Del Webb communities.
Starting prices are expected to range from the $300k's to the $500k's.
