Del Webb Sunbridge 55+ Community Review

by Ryan Erisman | Updated: March 27, 2023

The entrance to Del Webb Sunbridge

Del Webb Sunbridge is an Orlando area 55+ community located in St. Cloud, FL that held its grand opening in early 2020, about a week before the world stopped spinning for a while due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Once businesses were able to reopen a few months later, the community benefited from all of the pent-up demand from the pandemic shutdowns, and new home sales remain steady to this day. I've had several readers purchase homes here.

In this article, I'll be covering several different topics related to Del Webb Sunbridge, but you can feel free to read the whole thing or jump to a part that interests you the most.

Where is Del Webb Sunbridge?

If your goal is to be minutes from Orlando area theme parks, this is probably not the right community for you. You might actually prefer Del Webb Oasis or Four Seasons at Orlando, both of which are much closer to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Del Webb Sunbridge on the other hand is in the far southeast corner of the Orlando area.

Despite being a little further away from the theme parks or downtown Orlando, this area is not without its perks.

For one thing, it's close to Lake Nona, which offers lots of great restaurants, medical facilities, and things to do. Sunbridge itself is an up-and-coming master-planned community, with Del Webb Sunbridge being just part of the very beginning of efforts to develop this area.

I snapped a photo of this location map when I visited the sales center recently and it should give you a pretty good idea of where Del Webb Sunbridge is in relation to a number of local landmarks:

I know you're looking at that arrow pointing toward the beaches. Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach are both about an hour away.

The Hammock Club

The 27,000 sq. ft. “Hammock Club” clubhouse is Del Webb Sunbridge's main attraction.

  • Resistance Pool & Heated Spa
  • Resort Style Zero Entry Pool with Lap Lanes
  • Outdoor Fire Pits
  • Pool-Side Hammocks
